Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients including CHF, respiratory, GI, diabetic, and post-cath cases
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift to ensure patient safety
Monitor patients on set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem with close observation
Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides to deliver excellent care
Float to East Campus or PCU units when needed, showcasing your adaptability and skill
Support patients recovering from total joint replacements and those with CVA/TIA history

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry strip interpretation skills with ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
Minimum one year of telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience
Cerner experience preferred for seamless onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips
Experience with total joint replacement patients
Familiarity with CVA and TIA patient care
Comfort using Cerner electronic health record system
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
