Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients
Monitor and interpret telemetry to ensure patient safety
Titrate cardiac drips including Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
Collaborate with cardiologists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
Support post-surgical CVICU patients during their first 24 hours of recovery
Float to same-level and lower-acuity units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiac and vascular patient populations
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Cardiac drip titration and blood pressure management
Post-thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart patient care
BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula management
Floating comfortably across cardiac and vascular units
