Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with attention to detail
Titrate critical medications and manage IV drips confidently
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports with skill
Respond swiftly to codes and trauma situations
Read telemetry strips and perform EKGs independently
Collaborate with hospitalists and the care team in a close-knit environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable floating between MedSurg and Emergency Department
Experience with Meditech EMR a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Titration of Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Levophed
Independent decision-making with minimal staffing support
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
EMTALA compliance and trauma-informed care
Clear communication and adaptability
