Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support team to maintain excellent patient ratios
Float to other telemetry units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever the team needs you most
Complete required SIMs Lab training and demonstrate sterile technique for Foley and central line care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac step-down and post-surgical patient care
Philips telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Non-titrating medication drips and oxygen therapy management
Sterile field maintenance for Foley catheter and central line procedures
Cerner electronic medical records documentation
