Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedules provided by manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call required based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate LDRP care to mothers and newborns in a supportive community hospital setting
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure safe outcomes
Collaborate with a close-knit team of 2-3 RNs per shift while taking patient assignments as charge nurse
Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips using the OBIX system to support healthy deliveries
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient care across the region

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience essential for success in this role
Comfortable titrating drips and managing high-acuity obstetric patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Experience caring for patients with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use concerns
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, dedicated team
Flexibility to float within Zone 1 when census allows
