Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with occasional weekend coverage, varied 8-hour shifts including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, and Oncology
Provide hands-on treatment for ventilated patients and post-cardiac surgery individuals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized rehab plans
Support patients through total joint replacements and complex orthopedic recoveries
Document efficiently using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR documentation
Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilated patient management
Cardiology and cardiac surgery patient care
