Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDRP unit
Monitor and interpret fetal strips to ensure the safety of both mom and baby
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER as needed, showcasing your adaptability across the hospital
Collaborate with CNAs and the care team to deliver seamless patient experiences
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience and strong critical thinking skills
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips confidently
Willingness to float to Med-Surg and ER as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips
Critical thinking and quick decision-making
Adapting to change and thriving in a dynamic environment
Clear communication with patients and the care team
