Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float within similar care levels to support your colleagues and expand your clinical skills
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly make a difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemo certified nurses are especially welcomed
First-time travelers encouraged to apply
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Omaha and have no current employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
ICP monitoring and titration of drips such as insulin and cardizem
EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Strong teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
