Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
- Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin with precision
- Support postpartum recovery and educate new parents on newborn care
- Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
- Float to medical-surgical and emergency departments when needed to lend a helping hand
- Maintain accurate fetal monitoring using the OB Trace Vue system
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Comfortable working independently in a rural setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Experience with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller facility environment
