Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures including CVOR cases like CABG, valve replacements, and lung surgeries
Support ortho, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases with precision and care
Collaborate closely with the surgical team to maintain safety and efficiency in every procedure
Respond to on-call needs, providing critical support during weeknights and occasional weekends

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Familiarity with Phillips Telemetry monitoring
Ability to work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts as needed
Willingness to participate in call rotation including 1-2 weeknights per week and one weekend per month

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Comfort working across multiple specialties including CVOR and Main OR cases
Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
Quick adaptability to new technology and hospital protocols
Reliable and responsive during on-call situations
