Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
Operate advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including PB 980, Hamilton C1, and Airvo systems
Make independent clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes
Cover all facility areas including ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units with professionalism and skill

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential for success in this role
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Comfort working across diverse patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Quick decision-making in high-acuity settings
Adaptability to cover ER, ICU, surgical, and medical floors
