Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage titratable drips, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Champion patient experience by focusing on communication, responsiveness, and education about medications

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Strong telemetry interpretation skills and comfort working with high-flow oxygen equipment
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Valid driver's license at time of submission to confirm radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
Arterial line management
Patient assessment across cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, and respiratory diagnoses
Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
