Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Monitor and manage titratable drips including insulin and Cardizem while ensuring patient safety
Administer chemotherapy and other specialized medications with precision and care
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to same-level units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Perform hourly rounding and focus on patient experience to create meaningful connections

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred for oncology-focused care
EPIC experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Open to first-time travelers who are ready to learn and grow

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Comfort with Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift equipment
Ability to titrate drips such as insulin and Cardizem safely
Excellent teamwork and communication across diverse patient populations
Willingness to float within the same level of care as needed
