Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem
Manage ventilators and advanced hemodynamic lines such as CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and ICP
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care
Float to other PCU and Med/Surg units as needed while maintaining excellent outcomes
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months preferred
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps and lift equipment
Strong teamwork and adaptability in a culturally diverse unit
Willingness to learn real-time hemodynamic monitoring
