Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various PCU/IMC units based on patient needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable managing cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Ability to float between facilities within a 60-mile radius
Experience with vents, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
Flexible and adaptable approach to scheduling and assignments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
