Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients with varying acuity levels and diagnoses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Monitor adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and requiring specialized interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips and managing insulin, heparin, and ativan
Preferred: prior neuro experience and Epic charting familiarity

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip titration and medication management skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork across multiple facilities
Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients across specialties
