Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment
• Circulate for a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, pediatrics, gynecology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and urology
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
• Prepare the operating room, sterile field, and equipment for each procedure
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document accordingly
• Float to other surgery centers in the Denver area as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR nursing experience
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Experience circulating a variety of service lines is preferred
• Pediatric experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong circulating and sterile technique skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with SIS or similar surgical information systems
• Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude
