Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday call every 6-7 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow and optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patients in the PACU and Phase 2 recovery areas with attention to detail and compassionate care
Assist with bariatric, pediatric, and endoscopy cases while maintaining the highest safety standards
Document accurately using Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Respond to call shifts and support the OR team during weekend rotations every 6-7 weeks

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS certification required
Experience in General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures preferred
Familiarity with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
Ability to float to SJH main OR or AZ General Laveen as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR Pre/Post workflows and patient care
Comfortable working with bariatric, pediatric, and endoscopy patients
Proficient with Phillips telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle 2-18 minute Endo turnarounds efficiently
