Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert neuro-critical care to patients with complex neurological conditions
Monitor and manage ICP levels and external ventricular drains with precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at a world-renowned neurological institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units to support dynamic patient needs
Maintain sterile technique during procedures and uphold the highest safety standards
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility (450+ beds)
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring skills
EVD experience is a must
3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro ICU nursing with focus on trauma and post-operative care
ICP monitoring and EVD management
Ventilator management and Phillips telemetry monitoring
Cerner EMR documentation
Floating comfortably between ICU and Telemetry units
Maintaining sterile field during catheter and line procedures
