Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients on a 32-bed Med/Tele unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patients recovering from cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacemakers
Support patients with acute and chronic conditions including COVID, pneumonia, sepsis, and heart failure
Float to PCU, med-surg, and ER holds as a valued helping hand across the facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PCU experience with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring expertise
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
BiPAP, trach, and Airvo management
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to float between PCU, med-surg, and ER boarding areas
