Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert LDRP care for patients 33 weeks and above in a high-volume birthing center
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure smooth deliveries
• Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips while monitoring maternal and fetal well-being
• Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and psychosocial needs
• Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia, OBGYN hospitalists, and NNPs for seamless care
• Function across Labor, Mother Baby, and Postpartum units with routine mom-baby competencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing with ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
• Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• Centricity Perinatal EFM system experience
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for mom-baby couplets
• Ability to transition newborns and attend low-risk deliveries
• Adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
