Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients over 15 years old
Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics to support patient stability
Monitor and interpret telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring systems
Collaborate with physicians, fellows, and residents to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to various inpatient units while maintaining excellence in every assignment
Respond to rapid response teams and codes with confidence and skill

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90%
Willingness to adhere to the facility's no artificial nails policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
Experience with neuro, cardiac, and respiratory critical care patients
Comfort managing advanced equipment including vents, CRRT, Impella, balloon pumps, and ICP monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues and learners
