Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients with conditions like COPD, pneumonia, CVA, sepsis, and STEMI
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, insulin, heparin, and sedatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms with precision and confidence
Collaborate with intensivists and the care team to deliver evidence-based interventions 24/7
Float to PCU and medical floors as needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong background in ICU nursing with proven drip titration and telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90% score during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

ICU nursing expertise and critical thinking under pressure
Drip titration and medication management
Telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Patient advocacy and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
