Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 12-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians and support staff to deliver excellent outcomes
Manage patient flow from direct bedding to quick triage when the department is full
Respond confidently to trauma cases as part of a Level 4 trauma center team
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while delivering timely interventions
Support patients and families through stressful moments with empathy and clear communication

Qualifications

Active RN license in Oregon or ability to obtain a 90-day emergency license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2-3 years of recent emergency department experience
Strong critical-thinking skills and self-motivation

Knowledge & Skills

Independent thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments
Comfortable managing all aspects of ER care including holds and psych patients
Proficient with Meditech EMR
Skilled in reading cardiac strips and handling vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
