Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult
Perform IV starts, administer medications, and assist with sedation procedures
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced 52-bed ER
Ensure accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Maintain patient safety and satisfaction through attentive care

Qualifications

Active Kansas RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH certifications required
Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
Experience in a large facility (52+ bed ER) preferred
Travel experience or adaptability to fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

IV starts, medication administration, and sedation
Pediatric emergency care
Meditech EMR proficiency
TNCC certification preferred
Strong patient experience focus
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
