Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment to ensure patient safety
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support team to deliver excellent care
Float to other telemetry units including Neuro Tele as needed to support the broader hospital team
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Must have reliable transportation for travel teams

Cardiac stepdown and post-surgical patient care
Cerner EMR documentation
Philips telemetry monitoring
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
Team collaboration across multiple telemetry units
