Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed) — Rad Tech shift; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform radiographic imaging with precision and compassion
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain steps clearly
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety standards
Ensure high-quality images and assist radiologists as needed
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with the clinical team to support excellent patient care

Qualifications

Current state Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible)
ARRT certification preferred or in progress
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients in a clinical setting
Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
Understanding of radiation safety principles and best practices
Patient-centered care and effective communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate appropriately
