Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations accurately and efficiently
• Ensure patient safety and apply radiation protection principles on every exam
• Operate and care for imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Prepare patients for procedures with compassion and clear communication
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in orientation activities and contribute to a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Current Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) or equivalent
• State licensure in Missouri or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfort working in a clinical/hospital environment and assisting diverse patients
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Previous experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred but new grads who meet licensure requirements are encouraged to apply

Education

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Graduates of ARRT-eligible programs or accredited certificate programs considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient positioning and proper radiographic technique
• Familiarity with PACS, digital imaging systems, and image archiving
• Understanding of radiation safety and dose reduction practices
• Ability to follow protocols and prioritize patient comfort
• Basic troubleshooting and preventive care for imaging equipment
