Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions to restore mobility and function
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical assessments
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Document progress accurately to track outcomes and adjust treatments
Make a real difference in the lives of residents in a skilled nursing setting

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania (or compact license eligible)
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and staff
Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a new environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation techniques
Knowledge of Medicare and insurance guidelines for documentation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to use electronic medical records systems
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
