Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, as needed per diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting vital signs and lab results to ensure optimal care
Administer medications and complex treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies and ventilator management
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
Document patient progress accurately and maintain a safe, sterile environment

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in critical care nursing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
