Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: NOC shift, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (including 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Assist with daily living activities and promote resident independence
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with families and staff
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all residents

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Maryland (or compact state)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and IV therapy
Wound care and infection control
Electronic health records (EHR) proficiency
Geriatric nursing best practices
Time management and prioritization
Empathy and active listening
