Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient hemodynamics and vital signs during cardiac and peripheral procedures using advanced systems like Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and atherectomy devices
• Administer LEXISCAN Stress Tests and manage patient responses under the direction of cardiologists
• Assist with pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and safe patient transport throughout the department
• Operate Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and manage image archiving with McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic systems
• Rotate on-call duties to provide 24/7 coverage for emergent cases, ensuring timely intervention for patients in need

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience is required
• Recent traveler experience is strongly preferred
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification is preferred, BLS (AHA) is required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required
• Oklahoma State RN license or compact license is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment during interventional procedures
• Skilled in operating Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various atherectomy devices
• Knowledge of LEXISCAN Stress Test administration and monitoring
• Experience with Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson imaging and cardiology systems
• Familiarity with pre and post procedural care and patient transport
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
