Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible shifts available, primarily night shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care to elderly residents
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support residents' mobility and ensure a safe, clean environment
Build meaningful relationships and bring joy to each resident's day
Collaborate with the care team to deliver the highest quality of life

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR/BLS certification required
A passion for working with the elderly and a heart for service
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and safety best practices
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer literacy for charting and communication
Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA regulations
