Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire

Start Date: 10-05-2026

End Date: 01-03-2027

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (35 hours guaranteed per week)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety
Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire or compact eligibility
Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
Must be comfortable using an EMR system
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric rehab techniques
