Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, as needed (per diem)
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Support residents' emotional and social well-being through engaging interactions
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized care plans are followed
Qualifications
- Current Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- CPR certification preferred but not required
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Ability to follow instructions and document care accurately
- Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs
