Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients in the Med Surg unit
Participate in patient and family education to promote health and recovery
Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain standards of professional nursing practice
Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
Float to Thompson and Kingsbury units as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
Active New Hampshire RN license or compact state license
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Proven experience with Epic electronic medical records
Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from the facility
Willingness to float to different units as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medical-surgical nursing and patient assessment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in Epic EMR system
Critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage a diverse patient population with varying acuity
