Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in a transitional care setting
Design and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home safety
Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico (or compact eligibility)
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training
Ability to assess patient progress and modify treatment accordingly
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Time management and organizational skills
