Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide personalized physical therapy treatments to help patients regain mobility and independence
Collaborate with a supportive therapy team to develop and adjust care plans
Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records
Educate patients and families on exercises and home care strategies
Contribute to a positive healing environment at Oak Grove Center

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Maine
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
CPR certification (BLS) required
Comfortable working with geriatric populations in a skilled nursing setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
Proficient in documentation and basic computer skills
Time management and organizational abilities
Empathy and patience when working with patients
