Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No nights or double backs required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding with precision and care
Restock Pyxis machines on nursing units and procedural areas
Navigate Epic system to support medication management
Prepare and restock code trays and emergency kits
Answer phones and handle medication-related messages
Ensure accurate medication availability for patient care

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
PTCB Certification required
Sterile compounding experience essential
Epic experience preferred
Pyxis experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Epic electronic health record system
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Inpatient pharmacy operations
Attention to detail and accuracy
