Roles & Responsibilities

• Assure patients' drug therapy needs are met through thorough clinical review and medication management
• Oversee drug distribution processes including unit dose and IV admixture preparation
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and apply technical pharmacy practice to optimize therapy
• Teach and precept staff, students, or peers to support professional growth
• Perform administrative duties and ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and hospital policies
• Conduct research and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care
• Use pharmacy computer systems effectively for medication management, documentation, and workflows
• Communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams and patients, demonstrating self-directed initiative

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience required (this is not a retail role)
• Familiarity with clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, unit dose and IV admixtures
• Strong computer skills and comfort with technical pharmacy systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work self-directed
• Experience with drug therapy management and clinical pharmacy practice
