Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions that help patients regain independence
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to create meaningful recovery plans
Assess patient needs and track progress to celebrate every milestone achieved
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques that improve daily living
Document care with precision using Cerner to ensure seamless continuity

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred
Open to first-time travelers ready to grow

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Comfortable working with Cerner electronic medical records
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
