Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 05-30-2026
End Date: 08-29-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with every 3rd weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized occupational therapy services in patients' homes
- Assess and treat individuals recovering from strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries
- Complete OASIS documentation to meet government requirements
- Collaborate with PT, Speech Therapy, and rehab aides for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety
- Contribute to meaningful recovery journeys across ortho and neuro populations
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of clinical experience
- Experience with OASIS documentation
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR system
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work independently in home settings
- Excellent communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with ortho, stroke, and spinal injury rehabilitation
- Organized documentation and time-management abilities
