Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift: 10 hours; Night shift: 14-hour home call (must arrive within 30 minutes if called in)

Candidate Pay Rate: $280 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections to provide expert neonatal care
Manage ventilation support including BiPAP/CPAP, oscillator ventilators, and nitric oxide therapy
Perform essential neonatal procedures such as chest tube insertion, central line placement, and PICC lines
Lead emergency responses and neonatal resuscitation efforts
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Potentially supervise Neonatal Nurse Practitioners while collaborating with PT, OT, dietitians, and nursing staff

Qualifications

Board Certified in Neonatology required
Fellowship training in Neonatology required
Active full Michigan medical license required at time of name clear
NALS certification required
Experience with Level III NICU and neonatal procedures preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Neonatology expertise with ventilation management skills
Proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation
Strong neonatal resuscitation and emergency response abilities
Experience with neonatal procedures including UVC, UAC, and arterial line insertion
