MRI Technologist - Travel
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Start Date: 08-17-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-10:30 PM, Saturday-Sunday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, rotating weekends and on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans on patients using state-of-the-art GE equipment
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control standards
- Assist with quality assurance and equipment maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in MRI (MRI registered required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Breast MRI experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and protocols
- Experience with GE MRI equipment
- Knowledge of contrast administration and safety
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
