Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and create a calming, professional environment
Perform clinical tasks such as taking vitals, preparing patients, and assisting providers
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is complete and timely
Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for patient care
Support care coordination by communicating clearly with the healthcare team
Assist with basic administrative duties like scheduling and patient check-in as needed

Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain during orientation)
Prior experience in an outpatient or clinic setting is a plus
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic health record systems or willingness to learn
Strong customer service skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic infection control and safety practices
Ability to follow protocols and prioritize patient safety
