Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to med-surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team promptly
• Document patient care and chart in the electronic health record with attention to detail
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient-centered care
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license (state licensure required; be ready to provide proof)
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience (Med-Surg experience preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced med-surg environment with strong prioritization skills
• Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid med-surg nursing knowledge including patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Skilled in wound care, ADL assistance, and post-op patient support
• Proficient with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork abilities
