Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living with compassion and dignity
Support nursing staff by documenting patient status and routine observations
Help ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for each patient
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
Eligible to practice in New Hampshire (state licensure)
Willingness to complete orientation as provided by Cottage Hospital
Reliable, patient-focused attitude and good communication skills

Education

Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance techniques
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Infection prevention and safety awareness
