Roles & Responsibilities

Train users on EHR and clinical systems using innovative methods like classroom sessions and web conferencing
Configure and optimize clinical content with medical staff for better patient care
Triage and resolve user issues by collaborating with IT experts and clinicians
Update applications with the latest tests, medications, and codes to stay current
Assess and improve clinical processes across clinics to align with best practices
Develop engaging training materials and support continuous learning

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse License in Alaska required
Basic Life Support certification
Minimum 5 years in a medical setting with clinical experience preferred
2+ years with clinical information systems
1+ year with computer technology like programming or hardware
BSN preferred, high school diploma required

Education

BSN preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Advanced degree may substitute for experience

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Expertise in scheduling, radiology, laboratory, and document scanning systems
Knowledge of medical standards and best practices in outpatient and inpatient care
Proficiency in clinical information and IT systems
Problem-solving with good judgment and proactive thinking
Ability to work independently or in teams across multiple sites
