Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with rotational call after hours; Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM call coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform 2-4 interventional radiology cases daily across multiple campuses
- Assist with dialysis catheter placements, IVC filters, TIPS procedures, and CT-guided biopsies
- Operate GE Innova systems, MedRad injectors, and Angiojet devices with precision
- Provide on-call support nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous patient care
- Document procedures accurately using Cerner and RadNet EMR systems
Qualifications
- ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
- VI credential a plus
- Experience working with adult and inmate patient populations
- Comfortable with rotational call schedules and multi-campus coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional Radiology procedures and sterile technique
- GE Innova and Angiojet equipment operation
- Cerner and RadNet EMR documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork across Imaging departments
