Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with flexible start times as early as 6:00 AM, plus rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians with advanced GI procedures including EUS, ERCP, and stent placement
Perform meticulous scope reprocessing using Medivator DSD Edge and Olympus OER Pro systems
Support high-volume endoscopy cases ranging from routine colonoscopies to complex stone management
Handle biopsy, snare, GI bleed interventions, injections, and balloon dilations with precision
Maintain strict infection control standards through proper high-level disinfection protocols
Respond to call coverage within 30 minutes to ensure continuous patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent endoscopy tech experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS certification required
Strong proficiency in advanced EUS, complex ERCP, and stone management
Experience with stent placement, exchange, and removal procedures
Solid manual scope washing and handling skills
Proficient in general GI skills including biopsy, snare, and dilation procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced EUS and complex ERCP techniques
Stent placement and stone management expertise
Scope reprocessing with Medivator DSD Edge and Olympus OER Pro
High-level disinfection protocols and infection control
EBUS and ION procedures (preferred)
Self-scheduling flexibility and call rotation management
